My family and I went to the pacific coast today. My little brother goes to church camp every year and this is the first time we've been able to take him ourselves due to the fact that we now have a vehicle and a licensed driver whom i choose to call myself.
Anyways, after about four hours of driving we finally got there. Got josh (my little brother) to camp in time for check in with some to spare. After we got him all checked in we left to get pulled over by a police officer for my brake light being out. Thank god Im licensed and insured. He let us go with a warning.
Of course we're not gonna come all this way and be right at the coast and not stop and hang out for a while so we drive up onto the shore, park it and go play in the ocean for a while, which by the way it was a beautiful day to do so. After an hour or so of playing in the water, taking pictures, and chasing birds, we decide we better start on our four hour journey back home.
I drive a poor, beat up, '93 Ford Aerostar with running boards so undoubtedly we go to pull out of the beach access and get stuck in the dry sand. OMG!!! Are you serious??!!! Luckily three good samaritans were there to save the day or who knows how long we would've sat there stuck. FInally we got towed out of the sand and sent on our merry little way back to home sweet home....
Thank God we made it!! :)
